Vigonovo has recently introduced an innovative regulations under which new development must provide strict requirements in order to promote energy conservation. Following the adoption the method proposed by the House Climate of Bolzano, in fact, the coastal town ruled that as of August those submitting the application for the construction of buildings must qualify for the minimum standard on the property as a whole. *
Essentially, therefore, to have the certification is no longer sufficient presentation of a simple project in town, but obtaining them will be following a 'thorough verification procedure on the whole process of construction of the building for design, the choice of materials and equipment, the implementation until the completion of the work.
Positive anche le valutazioni del sindaco Leonardo Galenda e dell'assessore construction, Donatella Zambon, which show that, by that measure, Vigonovo is following the encouraging experiences already undertaken by many Italian administrations, offering alternative responses to the use of oil for new and daily energy requirements, thus facilitating reducing costs of the bills for energy consumption.

* It is not clear to what extent the new development will relate, however, remains an excellent initiative that many other municipalities should follow
